The Pullman
Our choice for the trip and particularly good for a family. The room product gave everyone space to relax after a busy day in Bangkok.

Bangkok is one of those cities that can feel completely overwhelming at first, but travelling as a family gave us a different way of experiencing it. We found that having a good base and keeping the days relatively uncomplicated made the city much easier to enjoy.
We stayed at the Pullman, which was a great room product for a family travelling. Having enough space to relax after a day in the city made a real difference, and it gave us a comfortable base from which to explore.
We particularly enjoyed travelling down the river to visit the palaces and temples. Seeing Bangkok from the water and moving between the different sights made for a great family day out.
Evenings were a different story. Asiatique was a great place to head for drinks and dinner along the river, while we also enjoyed dinner at Pastel and drinks at Scarlet, the rooftop bar at the Pullman. The rooftop bar at Lebua State Tower is another memorable option when you want to see the city from above.

The River
Take a boat down the river and use it to explore some of Bangkok's palaces and temples. A great way to see another side of the city.

One of our favourite evening stops, with drinks, dinner, lights and the river all coming together after dark.

Four Seasons
We enjoyed a really nice lunch here. A good choice when you want to take a break from exploring and settle in somewhere special.

We enjoyed dinner here and would happily include it in an evening around Bangkok.

For us, the river was one of the best ways to experience Bangkok. Travelling between the palaces and temples gave us a change of pace from the traffic and intensity of the city, while also making the sightseeing feel like part of the adventure.
Having the Pullman as our base worked particularly well with the family. The room product gave us somewhere comfortable to come back to, while the city itself provided plenty to keep everyone interested.
Then there were the evenings. Asiatique for drinks and dinner beside the river, Pastel for dinner, Scarlet at the Pullman for rooftop drinks and the rooftop bar at Lebua State Tower when we wanted the full Bangkok skyline experience.
